 * अन्य अपस्थानिक जड़ों में खाद्य संचय हेतु रूपान्तरण:-

(a) ग्रथिमय मूल (Nodulose root):- ये जड़े शीर्ष भाग पर फूल जाती है। 

जैसे- आम्भा हल्दी (Mango-ginger) / Curcuma amada 

(b) मणिकामय या मालाकार मूल (Beaded or Moniliform root) :- ये जड़े नियमित अन्तरालों पर फूलकर मणिकामय संरचना बनाती है। 

जैसे - पोर्चुलाका, करेला (मोर्मडिका) 

(c) वलयाकार मूल (Annulated roots):- ये जड़ें वलय की श्रृंखलाओं जैसी फूली हुई होती हैं। 

जैसे-आइपिकॉक (Psychrotia)

English Translation 

* Modification for food storage in other adventitious roots: -

(a) Nodulose root:- These roots swell at the top.

Like- Ambha turmeric (Mango-ginger) / Curcuma amada

(b) Beaded or Moniliform root :- These roots swell at regular intervals and form a beaded structure.

Eg - Porchulaca, Bitter gourd (Mormdica)

(c) Annulated roots:- These roots are swollen like chains of rings.

E.g. Ipecac (Psychrotia)
