 यांत्रिक सहायता हेतु अपस्थानिक जड़ों में रूपान्तरण:-

(ii) आरोही मूल (Climbing roots) :-

• ये जड़ें पर्वसंधि से उत्पन्न होती है और पादपों के आरोहण में सहायता प्रदान करती है ।

जैसे :-

पोथोस (Pothos- Money plant), 

पाइपर बिटल (Piper betel-Paan), Ivy Hedera nepelensis.

(iv) वप्र मूल (Buttress roots) :- 

• ये मुख्य तने के आधारी भाग से निकलती है और मृदा में विभिन्न दिशाओं में फैली रहती है।

जैसे :-

बाम्बेक्स फाइकस रेलिजिओसा (पिपल)

(ii) Climbing roots :-

• These roots arise from the internodes and help in the ascent of plants.

Like :-

Pothos (Pothos- Money plant),

Piper betel (Piper betel-Paan), Ivy Hedera nepelensis.

(iv) Buttress roots :-

• They emerge from the basal part of the main stem and spread in different directions in the soil.

Like :-
